This unit is one of the five specialty units, alongside the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 13th. It deals with major threats that are ground-bound in some way, and is one of the heavy combat units that the Hunters possess.

Being a simple, direct unit, most of those in it are geared for combat of varying types. While there are a few back-up of those who can function in areas other than just the ground, they're more an emergency trick or help than anything else.
