Hunter Academy Full Layout
The Hunter Academy itself is made up of two floors and a flat roof, and is carefully laid out. The entire place has a very militant feel... fitting, for it is a military academy. In addition, the academy itself is utterly gigantic; you could fit two or three campuses in the entire grounds, and the building itself can house an army of both Hunters and offworlders.
Because of the work offworlders have put in, places outside of the academy can be freely explored, though offworlders are still prohibited from purchasing residences or land. The Maverick Hunters want them to remain living in the academy to keep track of them.
Big big credits to:
skybuns for drawing the art for our named NPCs!
tentacular for doing the floor plans!

> Alternate/Outside the Academy Areas Open
> Abel City
One of the major cities in the world, and the one closest to the Academy, Abel City houses the Maverick Hunter headquarters. It's about equal to major cities like Vegas or New York, with a lot of shops, a lot of people, and a lot of... well, everything.
Despite this, Abel City tends to be a very peaceful city with a low crime rate, mostly because of the heavy Maverick Hunter presence. Many shops have also opened their doors to offer (day to day) work to offworlders, though some still resent or are even afraid of them.
---------
> Outside Grounds
The outside grounds are mostly green grass and paths, with a few (robotically enhanced) trees and plants scattered around here and there. The walls have been reinforced, and there are only two gates to get out, which are covered by Hunters at all times in case someone tries to attack again.
---------
> Ground Floor

> Commanders' Offices
Near the doors are two offices meant for the Commanders that help run the Academy. These Commanders (Megaman X of the 17th Elite Unit and Zero of the Special 0th Unit) occasionally come by to spend some time at the Academy to help out the displaced people in whatever ways they can as well as keep order.
X and Zero are, by default, always around. However, something may come up that requires them to go off-campus for varying lengths of time, and in those cases, X and Zero are not reachable. A mod post will always say when one or both of them leave and will also say when one or both of them arrive back on-scene.
The rooms are upgraded with state-of-the-art security; only someone with very high computer skill will be able to hack in. The rooms themselves are very spartan, just having the necessary equipment and computers for the Commanders to do their work in. Any attempts to hack into the computer will result in failure, as the computer will wipe all its files and trigger an alarm on the attempt.
> Medbays
Beside the offices are two high-tech, well-stocked medical bays. Because humans and robots of any kind (Reploids or not) require very different care, each medbay specializes in one or the other.
The human medbay stocks everything from simple things like painkillers, antibiotics, and bandages to anesthetic, suture-thread, and heavy drugs. Students are allowed to take anything simple or that they might have a legitimate, non-threatening use for freely, though to get anything else, the asker must possess a release form signed by an officer (or be skilled enough to steal it). The nurse on staff to tend to humans is a cheerful, gentle, and affectionate Reploid named Nina.
The robotics medbay stocks everything from chips to wiring to spare parts and is filled with recharge "beds" instead of actual beds. These beds also possess straps and shackles as well as an attached tube to quarantine the wounded robot, just in case one brought in is infected by the Sigma Virus. The nurse on staff to deal with robotic injuries is a calm, maternal, and firm Reploid named Selena.
> Classrooms
The classrooms are -- surprise! -- for classes. What classes are available, when they're taught, and where they're taught are all surprisingly flexible to account for the fact that all the "students" are displaced people from other worlds.
The classes offered are most everything that you could find in a normal classroom, on top of teaching all (human) languages and the repair/assistance of Reploids. Maverick Hunter classes mostly involve battlefield tactics, working with units/partners, how to recognize Mavericks, and other militaristic things.
All learning material is provided in the records room for those who want to study on their own.
> Security Room
The Security Room is the room where all the feeds from the cameras go and is the central hub of all the security in the Academy. The doors are always locked and it's impossible to get inside by any means, though the Reploid running everything, Alison, is the one who controls the announcements made over the Academy's intercom systems. She can be spoken to by talking to any of the intercom panels whenever an announcement is made, but she remains silent to concentrate at any other point.
> Records Room
This room is an extensive collection of all the records about the Maverick Hunter organization, its style of leadership, its various units, and some history on the organization itself. In addition, it also holds records of most every place on the world and the history of Reploids themselves, material for every subject, and more than a few stories just to read for relaxation.
If one has a sharp eye, they might be able to find a hidden bookcase in the corner behind a fake wall, where a lot more... adult material can be found. Just don't let the officers find you with it!
In simplest terms, the Records Room is the MMX-equal of a library, with the "books" being on various different datapads... or just directly downloaded to the datapad the character has.
> Training Rooms
The training rooms are large empty rooms that are heavily reinforced to allow for the practice of weapons, skills, powers, or other such things. These rooms can't be even scuffed except by the most powerful of means, and any damage that is done is very quickly repaired.
While the room is usually empty, a computer panel by the door can be used to generate an unlimited number of mechaniloids for target practice, and can also be adjusted to raise or lower the temperature by significant amounts in case one wants to train their endurance. Both rooms come equipped with sensors, however, and in the case of serious injury, accident, or threat, the rooms will shut down all active processes and disable all weaponry within them while alerting the medical bays so that Selena and Nina can quickly come rescue those who need it.
The training rooms are unlocked 24/7, and can be used as freely as anyone wants. Sparring is also heavily encouraged; soldiers, staff, and officers can be found here every so often training or blowing off steam.
> Weapons Storage
Some students don't come with their own weapons, and in response, the Maverick Hunters have stocked a storage with all types of training weapons. Any weapon imaginable can be found here, but all of them are specifically designed for those who are still learning to use weapons (and all of them can be shut down remotely, either in the training room or by Alison). However, the weapons are still dangerous and -- despite the low power/dullness of them -- can still kill if used improperly.
Weapons are not allowed to be kept; they must be checked out when taken and checked back in at the end of the day, otherwise the student will find an officer kicking down their door.
> Common Room
The large room is heavily carpeted and filled with stuffed chairs and couches, with a few tables and end tables scattered here and there. All sorts of games, from game systems to arcade-esque games (just high tech and lacking a need for money) can be found here along with large TVs and tons of movies.
Nothing can be taken out of the Common Room; any attempts will just result in the door closing and refusing to open until the object is put down.
> Lift
The elevator goes up to the second floor and the roof, and is large enough to accommodate large groups. There also seems to be no weight limit; it can handle any combined weight from whoever can fit inside of it.
> Courtyard
A result of X's request, the courtyard is a large area filled with grass, flowers, trees, and all sorts of other nature, along with various wild (but harmless) animals, like rabbits or birds. Benches are laid out in random spots for students to relax, and the outside walls are made of a nigh-unbreakable glass so that the outside can be seen.
The room's systems mimic the best temperature and state for things to be comfortable, though it usually matches the temperature and state outside of the Academy when possible.
Students are welcome to take flowers from the courtyard, but the officers request that animals be left alone after the "Rabbit In The Elevator Gears" incident.
> Storage
The general storage area is open to anyone to take what they please, and is restocked every night. Because it's a "general" storage, only various living or simple items can be found here: blankets, pillows, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and the like.
> Cafeteria
The cafeteria is a very large, open room with enough chairs to seat an army. The tables and chairs are reinforced so that those of any weight can settle into them and can very easily be adjusted to be taller or shorter for those who don't quite match the average height.
The cafeteria also has vending machines, though they don't take money, with anything from typical junk food like chips to literal energy drinks that recharge a robot's systems by some degree.
A human with black hair and gold eyes named Drake runs the food service at 7 AM, 1 PM, and 8 PM every day for those who can't or won't cook. His food is actually very good; it's nothing that would be in a 5 Star Restaurant, perhaps, but it's tasty and well-made. Sometimes even home-made.
> Kitchen
The kitchen is fairly well stocked with equipment, like one would probably find at a high-class restaurant. Students are welcome -- and even encouraged -- to come cook their own meals here, though the kitchen is off limits during the time that Drake is preparing meals: 6:30-7 AM, 12:30-1 PM, and 7:30-8 PM. Drake is, however, open to getting help cooking. Or even teaching a few things to those who help out!
> Food Storage
The shelves are as stocked as they can get with foods or ingredients of almost every single imaginable kind. Students are outright encouraged to -- if they need to eat -- come take what they want to make their own meals or snack on, and there's no limit to what can be taken. Like the general storage, the food is restocked every night.
> Garage
This is where all the Hunters' vehicles are stored. In addition, any vehicles brought in by player characters will be stored here on lock-down until they've been approved as not being a threat.
Most of the vehicles here are Ride Chasers of varying makes and models, but there are a few Ride Armors (also of varying makes and models) scattered about.
---------
> Second Floor

> Commanders' Rooms
Private rooms set aside for X and Zero. The rooms are sealed and cannot be hacked into or otherwise entered.
> Showers & Laundry Room
While student rooms have their own private toilets, Hunter Academy doesn't provide private showers. Instead, students use a large communal shower to clean off, and share a connected laundry room to keep their clothes and other sheets clean. There are benches scattered around the showers and a few in the laundry for dry clothes or towels to be set on so they don't get wet while bathing.
The showers have both hot and cold water, and the hot water never runs out, so students are free to remain for as long as they please, though they have to bring their own soap and shampoo.
Officers request that students refrain from having sex in the showers, as those are supposed to be an area to get clean, and instead encourage them to keep that sort of thing to the private rooms. They also suggest you bribe your roommates to go away for a few hours to get that privacy if necessary.
> Officer Rooms Block
The block of rooms for officers. Each room hosts two individuals and is a little more decorated than the student rooms.
> Soldier Rooms Block
The block of rooms for soldiers. Each room is as spartan as the student rooms.
> Student Rooms Blocks
The three blocks with student rooms in them. Each room is fairly spartan, having only a small common room, a toilet, a closet that generates clothing the individuals sharing it want, and a small kitchen with necessities.
The TV, while high-tech, isn't very large, and the table and chairs can be adjusted like in the cafeteria.
The beds, by default, are organic beds, made with humans in mind (but reinforced for heavy ones and large enough to account for tall or thick humans). Whenever a robot or Reploid takes a room, however, the staff with replace their specific bed with a recharge bed instead, so that they can "plug in" at night when they sleep. This will be done automatically before their next needed recharge period.
---------
> Roof
The roof is completely empty but for the high walls to prevent people from falling off. It's mostly used as a teleporation point or for air vehicles, but it can be accessed freely.
